We are looking for non-union and CORE actors for this commercial spot for Daikin – usage is internet and broadcast. There is a quick turnaround on this one, so submissions are due by 5PM Wednesday, 9/28 (tomorrow!). It pays well for non-union.

Special Notes:
Initial session (one day flat shoot, including behind-the-scenes footage + wardrobe fitting) plus usage pays $4,000 (+10% rep fee). Additional payments for travel days, possible 2nd shoot day – also possible additional options – read further. Buyout included is 3 years for internet usage, and worldwide broadcast. All actors must agree to these buyout and additional terms (below). Please check your conflicts – we are not holding for any conflicts, however please do not submit if you have another conflict with another HVAC manufacturer from a previous job.
Additional work/travel day session fees (2nd shoot day) paid at $500/day flat (+10% fee). Most likely only for CHIC MOM.
Travel only days paid at $250/day flat + 10% fee (50% of $500 rate).
Below are the “Optional Deals” for future situations should the need arise:
#1 Option – $1000 +10% to extend usage for 1 year for internet use and worldwide broadcast.
#2 Option – $1500 +10% for 3-year buyout North American print (print only, no OOH, no POS).
Character Descriptions and Notes (plus Storyline if applicable):
[CHIC MOM] Female. Mid-30’s. Caucasian or Ethnically Ambiguous. Fairly tall and slender with enough athleticism to let us know she appreciates the outdoors. A primarily white chic with an awesome mixed ethnicity that skews Euro/global. Someone like a Charlize Theron, Jessica Alba, Eva Green or Penélope Cruz.
[DAUGHTER] Female. 6-8. Caucasian or Ethnically Ambiguous. Will match the looks of our CHIC MOM. Two girls will be chosen. Girls should range from straight Caucasian to a slight mix of ethnicity to skew Euro/global. Should look like they could be the daughter of Charlize Theron, Jessica Alba, Eva Green or Penélope Cruz, for examples.
