Casting Notice: Actors Submit – GoHealth Commercial – 3 Paying Roles

We are looking for non-union and CORE actors for this 30 second commercial spot for GoHealth Urgent Care.

Special Notes:

Initial session (one day 10-hour shoot + wardrobe fitting) plus usage pays $1,250 (+20% rep fee). Additional payments for travel days, overtime after 10 hours, and possible 2nd shoot day (most likely just on YOUNG MOM – all other roles will shoot in one day) – also possible additional options – read further. Buyout included is 2 years for internet usage and regional broadcast for three regions (NY/NJ; OR (Pacific Northwest); and one additional regional market TBA). All actors must agree to these buyout terms. Please check your conflicts – we are not holding for any conflicts, however please do not submit if you have another conflict with another healthcare service from a previous job.

Overtime (double-time) for 11 and 12 hours to be paid in 30 minute increments based on a rate of $550 for 10/hours – calculated at $55/hour (so double-time would be paid at $110/hour). $55.00 for every 30 minutes of work after 10 hours. 30-minute lunch break deducted from work day hours.

Additional work day session fees (2nd shoot day) paid at $550 (+20% fee) for 10 hours, with the same OT provisions listed above. Most likely only for YOUNG MOM.

Travel days paid at $275 + 20% fee (50% of $550 rate). 2 travel days included per role.

Any additional regional markets (in addition to the three listed above) to be paid at $550 (+20% fee) per market (for same regional broadcast + internet use for 2 years).

Below are the “Optional Deals” for future situations should the need arise:
#1 Option – $600 +20% to extend usage for 1 year for internet use and 3 regional markets listed above (NY/NJ, OR-Pacific Northwest, and one additional regional market TBA).
#2 Option – $2,500 +20% to extend usage for 5 years for internet use and 3 regional markets listed above (NY/NJ, OR-Pacific Northwest, and one additional regional market TBA).
#3 Option – $3500 +20% for buyout of 2 years for internet use and national broadcast. #4 Option – $1500 +20% for buyout of additional +1 years for internet use and national broadcast.
#5 Option – $6000 +20% for buyout of additional +5 years for internet use and national broadcast.
#6 Option – $1500 +20% for 3-year buyout national print (print, no OOH, no POS).
Character Descriptions and Notes (plus Storyline if applicable):

[YOUNG MOM] Female. Early to Mid-30’s. Caucasian. Prefer brunette or dark red hair. Very naturally pretty. In-shape – thin but fit. Relatable. Strong, competent, does it all. Professional working mom – takes care of the kids and her high-powered job, even when she gets sick. Should have good facial expressions – not over the top. She moves through life quickly – Reactions need to be quick to convey mood efficiently. Think Lauren Cohan or Morena Baccarin.

[BOSS] Female. Mid-40’s. Caucasian. Prefer blonde. Attractive. High-powered executive – boss to Mom. Assertive, confident, direct. She is all business – a power-play kind of career woman – doesn’t notice or care that her employee is sick. A bit narcissistic – Very involved in her own world and doesn’t notice those around her much. Think a younger version of Meryl Streep in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. Someone like a slightly older version of Rosamund Pike.

[GOHEALTH PROVIDER] Male. Early-30’s to Early-40’s. Asian or Caucasian. Good-looking, warm, friendly. A smart, confident, professional-looking Asian (preferred) male. Someone who got into medicine because he truly cares about people. He’s able to grasp the bigger picture with his patients, like he understand the other parts of their life and things they’ve been going through. Very caring – you can see in his eyes that he cares about his patients. Think Daniel Dae Kim.
