Our new hit play, The Milk Meetings by Blaire Baron Larsen, closes this Friday night after an extended engagement. This funny dramedy about a five women behaving badly in a highly dysfunctional breast-feeding support group – with powerhouse performances by Torrie Bogda, Emily Button, Liberty Cordova, Ida Darvish, and Rochelle Leffler – has its final performance this weekend on 9/11 at 8PM at Studio C Artists, along Hollywood Theatre Row – so get your tickets now, and catch a great show before it’s gone!
The Milk Meetings becomes a hormonal “Stroller Coaster” ride of emotions, when a post partum mother, who experienced personal trauma the morning of 9/11/2001 – starts to throw disturbing theories and suspicions out to a politically correct Breastfeeding Support Group. We each have our own ways of remembering 9/11. It is a difficult day for most of us. This show honors ALL ways we chose to respond to this epic tragedy – whether mainstream or not. It shines a light on a troubled woman who relentlessly questions the prevailing wisdom – and what happens when she does.
